With large amazing parks only 20 min. in any direction getting out to good birding locations is easy and fast in Calgary.

It was my first time there to see the Hawk Owl, the same Hawk Owl that Ann had photographed on February 18th. Of course by the time I had arrived it was overcast!

Colonel Sam Smith Park in Toronto this afternoon and within 20 minutes a Peregrine Falcon made an appearance and I managed to get a few photographs of this gorgeous falcon!
