Alex Robertson Park in Pickering
October 27th, 2007 by Rob McKay
I had to make a trip out to Whitby this afternoon, the first thing I did was check the google map to see what park I could drop into on the way back home. Windy & seriously overcast with intermittent rain, perfect for photography! Well, not really but what the heck, the camera gets a bit wet, no big deal right?
My first visit to Alex Robertson Park in Pickering was great. This is a must see park and comes complete with wooded areas, meadows, wetlands, and sculptures! Yes, I sad sculptures. Was not the best conditions for bird watching today, but I still enjoyed myself. Bluebirds, kinglets, chickadees, and those amazing carvings made for an interesting hour. Alex Robertson Park is an awesome location and an amazing place for watching and photographing ducks, if your are looking for waterfowl and are in the Pickering area, check this place out!
