Female Coopers Hawk
June 22nd, 2007 by Rob McKay
A tip from a friend about a local coppers hawk, I took a quick trip to Colonel Sam Smith Park in hopes of a sighting. After about an hour searching, I ran into an immature female coopers hawk. With camera in hand I took a few shots and moved on as she was not too happy to see me.
A great outing at a great biding location!
