Mouth of Duffins Creek Waterfowl - Rotary Park, Pickering/Ajax
October 27th, 2007 by Rob McKay
I have been to Rotary Park before, but with a fishing rod, this time I had my camera in hand. What a great spot for ducks! Although today was not optimal for birding, off and on rain with very high gusting winds I still saw quite a bit for the short time I was there. The usual suspects like Canada geese, Mallards, but also watched four Great Blue Herons off in the distance, Long tail ducks, mergansers, and a host of other species of waterfowl. Not a great day for photos, but I did get a few.
