Peregrine Falcon Colonel Sam Smith Park Toronto
March 1st, 2008 by Rob McKay
Dropped by Colonel Sam Smith Park this afternoon in Toronto and within 20 minutes a Peregrine Falcon made an appearance and I managed to get a few photographs of this gorgeous falcon!
It was very windy today down by the lake and this Peregrine Falcon took full advantage of the wind, man was this bird moving fast! I got a couple in flight shots as the Peregrine flew by.
It came to rest on a mast of a sail boat, not the most natural setting for photos, but what the heck, you don’t get many opportunities to photograph these guys!

Did I mention it was cold, and windy!

If I am near the lake, I cant pass up photographing the ducks!
