Sunshine, Owls and a little one in flight.

Finally, a little sun looked good bathing our feathered friends today. After many days of overcast it was a joy to photograph birds without high ISOs or fill in flash. Halls Road was the place to be for all the regulars while Thicksons Woods saw Hawks and Owls. Last on the list was the one that provides the greatest challenge to me. Capturing a Chickadee in flight. If whiplash is a craving to you then swinging a lens at these little missiles, will do the trick.

Nice article Joe. I was at Thickson Road watching the Great Horned Owl fly from branch to branch. He flew at least 3 times while I was there. Very cool. Ran out of time other wise I would have stopped in to Halls Road. Good to have you back. Ann
