Winter & East Humber Bay Park
December 8th, 2007 by Rob McKay
The sun was (finally!) shinning so I decided to drop by east humber bay park after work today to see if anything was moving. Winter has settled in and the main pond was about 80% frozen over and the small river was solid ice. The only signs of anything other than ducks was that of a distant chickadee.
Not a heck of a lot going on there today, I saw a few mergansers, lots of mallards, one swan and about 10 bufflehead ducks floating in the last bit of open water in the pond.
A few shots from the day, and I do mean few!

Nice shots Rob. Is this the new lens? Ann
Thanks Ann, yes it is the new lens. #3 being a bit out of focus, but wow is it sharp, as can be seen in #1 & #2.
Thanks again,
Rob
