Yellow-Rumped Warblers at Rosetta McClain Gardens
October 14th, 2007 by Rob McKay
Arrived around 10:00 am to view the migrating birds of prey with Frank and friends, but it was a slow day for the raptors while I was there (check the link below, after I left the eagles appeared!), but with a good turn out of watchers its always a fun outing! It was dull overcast day but plenty of small birds were about, including chickadees, and a variety warblers.
Still a few blue jays passing by on there way south, and a handful of late monarch butterflies.
I did manage to get a few shots of yellow-rumped warblers and the fall colours made for some interesting backgrounds.

And the rump end…
