G. Ross Lord Dam Park is large, with a ton of opportunities for bird watchers & photographers. located in the West Don River valley, G. Ross Lord Dam Park and Reservoir offers heavily wooded and wetland areas that are ideal habitats for viewing song birds, waterfowl, herons and birds of prey. Woodpecker from G. Ross Lord Dam park The reservoir is large and brings in many species of ducks as well as Great Blue Herons, Black Crowned Night Herons and many other interesting birds.

Located north of Finch Ave. West, west of Dufferin St. Car parking is off of Dufferin street. Take the second entrance north of Finch to gain full access of the park.
